This week’s edition of LICINISO examines the growing connection between imperialism, authoritarian rule, and international conflict.

The publication features the Communist Party of Swaziland’s contribution to the International Forum on Terrorism, Arbitrariness and Aggression, highlighting how imperialism and absolute monarchy reinforce one another to suppress democratic rights, labour organisation, and popular participation.

The article argues that the struggle against international terrorism, arbitrariness, and aggression is inseparable from the struggle against authoritarian rule, economic exploitation, and imperialist domination.

This edition also carries an extensive international analysis by Palestinian political analyst Fouad Baker, examining developments in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran. The article explores stalled negotiations in Gaza, military escalation in Lebanon, and Iran’s growing regional role amid shifting geopolitical realities.

The publication highlights how regional conflicts are increasingly interconnected and how emerging global dynamics are challenging traditional power structures and reshaping international relations.

As Africa commemorates Africa Day 2026, this edition reaffirms the importance of anti-imperialist solidarity, democracy, sovereignty, and international cooperation among oppressed peoples and nations.
