The People’s Republic of Swaziland: Vision for Public Service Under the People’s Republic

The People's Republic of Swaziland Thumbnail

The Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) presents a comprehensive framework outlining its vision for the transformation of public administration, governance, economic management, social development, and democratic participation under a future People’s Republic of Swaziland.

Drawing on Marxist-Leninist theory, African socialist traditions, international revolutionary experiences, and the practical realities facing Swaziland, this document explores proposals for democratic governance, public services, economic planning, worker participation, environmental sustainability, education, healthcare, security transformation, and national development.

The publication examines lessons from international experiences including China, Cuba, Vietnam, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, Nicaragua and other revolutionary movements, while also discussing challenges such as corruption, bureaucratic degeneration, economic sanctions, external intervention, and the defence of national sovereignty.

This framework is intended as a contribution to discussions on democracy, sovereignty, social justice, public administration, and the future development of Swaziland.
