Communist Party of Swaziland Statement for the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

On this International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the Communist Party of Swaziland stands in support
of the Palestinian struggle for justice, freedom, and self-determination. This day serves as a reminder of the ongoing plight
of the Palestinian people, who have faced decades of oppression, displacement, and violence.

The roots of the Palestinian struggle can be traced back to the early 20th century, when Zionist colonisation began displacing
the indigenous Palestinian population. Following the establishment of Israel in 1948, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were
forcibly removed from their homes — marking the beginning of a long-standing conflict characterised by systematic dispossession
and violence.

The actions of the Israeli state constitute a form of genocide under international law. The ongoing occupation, the blockade of
Gaza, and the rapid expansion of illegal settlements reveal a regime intent on erasing Palestinian identity and sovereignty.
Backed by imperialist powers — particularly the United States and the European Union — Israel continues to enforce brutal
policies that amount to ethnic cleansing.

This genocidal violence is devastating. Thousands of Palestinians have been killed in the latest escalation, including women,
children, and the elderly. These atrocities represent the last scars of imperialism — the enduring legacy of colonial domination
and exploitation.

The criminal regime of Mswati in Swaziland has aligned itself with the Israeli apartheid state. This alliance undermines
Swaziland’s sovereignty while contributing to the suffering of both Palestinians and the impoverished people of Swaziland.
Resources that should uplift our communities are diverted to support Israeli military activity — rendering the regime complicit
in the genocide against Palestinians.

While ceasefire calls are important, they must not serve imperialist interests. A ceasefire that merely allows Israel to regroup
and rearm betrays the Palestinian struggle. Even during the recent ceasefire, Israel killed around 250 Palestinians, proving its
disregard for peace and human life. Plans to forcibly displace Palestinians globally further demonstrate the apartheid regime’s
aim to erase an entire people. True peace requires ending the occupation and fully recognising Palestinian rights.

We call for the immediate recognition of a free and sovereign Palestinian state — from the river to the sea. This is not a slogan
but the fundamental right of Palestinians to live in dignity on their ancestral land. The international community must uphold
justice and stand firmly with this right.

We further demand the dismantling of the Zionist apartheid system. The apartheid wall, militarised checkpoints, and discriminatory
laws are daily tools of oppression against Palestinians. The world must unite to end apartheid once and for all.

On this day, we reaffirm our unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and all those resisting imperial aggression. Their
courage continues to inspire the working class and oppressed peoples everywhere. The genocide in Palestine remains a brutal scar
of global imperialism — one we must collectively struggle to end.

Long live the Palestinian resistance!
Long live international solidarity!
