In this issue of Liciniso, the CPS discusses the building of an offensive capacity as well as building and maintaining organisation among the ranks of oppressed peoples fighting for democracy in Swaziland. In addition this issue discuses the pledge for solidarity by the South African Communist Party (SACP) with the people of Swaziland, SNAT’s call against union bashing and their appreciation of the CPS for assisting to unite the trade union movement, a statement on the tinkhundla system and those who participate in its sham elections, a condemnation of Mswati’s forces in their harassing of a the family of the transport workers’ leader, and finally a call to action against Mswati’s forces in response to the harassment and killings perpetrated by said forces. This issue also marks the first article written in siSwati.
